The Rescue (紧急 救援) is an upcoming Chinese action movie directed by Dante Lam. The film follows the personal and professional life of the members of China Rescue & Salvage of the Ministry of Transportation of China. Eddie Peng, Wang Yanlin, Jin Zhili, Lan Ying, Wang Yutian and Xu Yang star in the film. The movie’s premiere is scheduled in China on January 25, 2020.
Rescue III of a series of films directed by The Dant Lam that pays homage to Chinese government officials: Operation Mekong (Police) 2016, Operation Red Sea (Marine) of 2018 and Rescue (Rescuers) of 2020. The film has received financial and production support and assistance from the Chinese Ministry of Transportation
