Love Aaj Kal (2020 film)

Love Aaj Kal (Love Nowadays) is a 2020 Hindi romance drama film directed by Imtiaz Ali and starring Kartik Aryan and Sara Ali Khan. The Principal Photography movie started in the first half of March 2019 and ended in July 2019. It was released in India on Valentine’s Day 2020. It was the spiritual successor of the 2009 film of the same name, also directed by Imtiaz Ali.

Storyline

The word ‘love’ itself carries with it an abundance of feelings and meanings that constantly change over time. The expression of love has changed over the years, is the emotion still the same? Has anyone discovered the perfect way to love? Love Aaj Kal is a film that addresses this changing dynamic of being and finding love. Box office

Love Aaj Kal earned ₹ 12 crore (US $ 1.7 million) net at the national box office on opening day. On the second day, the film raised $ 7 crore ($ 980,000). On day three, the film raised ₹ 7 crore (US $ 980,000), bringing its total opening weekend collection to ₹ 26 crore (US $ 3.6 million) net.

As of March 13, 2020, with gross receipts of ₹ 41.65 crore (US $ 5.8 million) in India and ₹ 10.98 crore (US $ 1.5 million) overseas, the film has gross worldwide of ₹ 52.63 crore (US $ 7.4 million).
