Laapataa Ladies is an upcoming Hindi movie directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Aamir Khanand Kiran Rao. The movie stars Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Chhaya Kadam and Ravi Kishan in the lead roles. The movie is set in 2001, somewhere in rural India, and follows the jolly mess that ensues when two young brides get lost from a train. Their respective husbands rush to the police station to report their disappearance, while the wives encounter a host of colourful characters and unexpected consequences.
Laapata Ladies Trailer To Be Launched On Wednesday
Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao will showcase the trailer to selected media on Tuesday, 23rd January. Producer duo and cast of the film will be present with media. Digital launch of trailer will happen on Wednesday, 24th January. Aamir has produced such low budget high concept films in past which were box office hits. Peepli Live, Delhi Belly and Taare Zameen Par were runaway hits despite no big names or budgets.
Laapataa Ladies To Release In Theaters On 1st March
Laapataa Ladies is scheduled to release in theatres on 1st March, 2024. The movie is presented by Aamir Khan Productions, Kindling Pictures and Jio Studios. The movie has been written by Sneha Desai and Divyanidhi Sharma, based on an original story by Biplab Goswami. The music has been composed by Ram Sampath, while the cinematography has been done by Vikash Nowlakha. The movie has been edited by Jabeen Merchant and has been designed by Vikram Singh and Darshan Jalan.

Aamir Khan To Focus On Producing More Films
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who is known for his perfectionism and versatility, has not announced any projects starring himself. After the debacle of Laal Singh Chaddha, it seems that actor is now focusing on his family and his production house as a producer. He has revealed his plans to create a platform for young people to showcase their talent and produce more films under his banner Aamir Khan Productions.
The actor attended a book launch event on Monday, where he spoke about his forthcoming projects and his vision for the future of cinema. He said that he has given some time to his production house, which he founded in 1999 with his first film Lagaan.
He said, “Iss waqt main apni family life bohot enjoy kar raha hu, baccho ke saath main waqt bita raha hu, mummy ke saath ghar pe aur main production house pe bhi dhyaan de raha hu, film main produce kar raha hu. Main pehle bohot kaam films produce karta tha, lekin abhi hum log kaafi films produce karne ki soch rahe hain.”
He further added, “As a production house ek platform ban saku young logo k liye, unka kaam samne rakhne ke liye ek zaariya ban saku. Toh usss sochh se maine thoda waqt diya hain main apna production house ko taaki main systems create karu production house main taaki firse jo subject mujhe achha lage jaldi se jaldi ban sake aur hum eksaath do tin films bana sake. uss sabka main planning kar raha hu taaki platform mile logo ko, youngsters ko.”
Aamir Khan Productions has produced some of the most acclaimed and successful films in Bollywood, such as Taare Zameen Par, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Peepli Live, Delhi Belly, Dangal, Secret Superstar and Laal Singh Chaddha.
The actor also said that he wants to produce more films in different genres and languages, and collaborate with talented filmmakers from across the country. He said that he is open to working with new directors and writers, as well as established ones.
Speaking about Aamir’s own acting projects, a source close to the development revealed, “With multiple films in various stages of development, Aamir is definitely following the studio model. He is willing to make quality films for the audience but as a producer.”
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan is reportedly producing a Hindi remake of the Spanish movie Campeones reportedly starring Farhan Akhtar and Indian Remake of Thai Film One Day starring his son, Junaid Khan.
